About The Artist
Born, raised, and rooted in Spokane, Washington, I have always felt a deep connection to art. Although I studied art at the University of Washington, my early career took a different path as I built and operated a technical recruiting company.
In 2007, with my children grown and pursuing their own journeys, I returned to painting -my true passion. In 2014, I was diagnosed with severe tremors, a life-changing challenge that threatened my ability to create. But through Deep Brain Stimulation surgery in 2022, I was given the gift of painting once again.
Today, I am incredibly grateful to live and work as a fine artist - creating, exhibiting, mentoring, and giving back through charitable donations. Some of my greatest joys come from teaching art to young students and connecting with collectors who find meaning in my work.
I believe my artistic ability is a gift, and I strive to honor it by continuing to grow, explore, and share. My hope is that my paintings resonate and speak to others in a meaningful way.
